THIS. . . is a 2004 Audi S4 Avant, finished in Dolphin Gray Metallic with an Ebony interior. This S4 Avant is equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Factory equipment includes the Premium and Premium Audio packages, 18-inch wheels, roof rails, wood interior trim, heated and power-adjustable Recaro front seats, manual rear sunshades, plus CD and cassette players. The only modification reported by the seller are timing chain guides from an RS4. Called "B6" internally, the second-generation A4 made its debut for the 2000 model year with evolutionary exterior design updates and a more luxurious interior -- Audi was serious about luring buyers out of BMW showrooms. It was initially only offered as a sedan but the Avant wagon joined the range in 2001, with the V8-powered S4 making its debut for 2003. Audi never built a B6-based RS4, so the S4 stood proud as the most powerful member of the portfolio until production ended in 2006.
