Toyota's 200-Series Land Cruiser arrived for 2008 with a more powerful V8 shared with the Tundra, a longer list of technology added to increase on-road comfort and off-road prowess, and a quieter interior. It retained rugged body-on-frame construction but it put an even greater emphasis on luxury than its predecessor. Toyota made several updates to the 200-Series before production ended in 2021. Power comes from a 5. 7-liter V8, rated at 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
